| Sorry I am not good at this update thing. A friend reminded me I needed to do it. Well, besides becoming a mother in law, buying a new house and keeping an academy running, I don't have much to do so guess I will give you all, "something new to read." Go to Java Internet Cafe for a really cool place to hang out and meet people. We are talking about having an "Open mic night" there from time to time as well as let a KC local band do an acoustic set from time to time...
They are behind Quicktrip at 291 and Hwy 50. Go there!

| I guess xanga has a purpose..It is amazing how this little subculture has popped up isn't it? Well it helps the old folks stay on our toes to be sure. May I encourage and remind you all in this...let your conversations (even with yourself) be wholesome and godly. Anybody and everybody reads these and we can use this platform for His purposes. He is the creator of everything so be challenged always to find how He intends each discovery to be used! | | |
| Hey everyone...I have no idea why I do this. My kids think mom needs to stay cool and have a xanga..oh brother. When you are approaching 44 years old, the last thing on your mind is how to be cool. As a matter of fact, the things you really think about are how to keep your kids in love with Jesus. How to help them find the right mates....How do you help them BE an influence rather than be INFLUENCED.... these are the weighty things on a mom's heart. Certainly not coolness...lol. It is a joy to have all 6 in line with us worshipping together. Though certainly not a perfect family, yes we yell sometimes, they are the best. | | |

As another year ends, I always find myself looking around at my family and friends. I find myself memorizing their faces, memorizing these moments, memorizing these awesome worship times together. Will it be this way next year or will world events and circumstances change these things forever? We do not know. What I do know is I never want these times to be ho hum. I never want these times to be taken for granted. There will be a day I believe that everything that is being poured into us will be required of us again. We will have to stand as a vessel of outpouring to those who did not believe, to those who squandered these times, to those who are afraid and do not know what to do. We must continue to keep ourselves ready. Fight through the stupid things that rob us of changing. We must hold our position and at the same time advance His purposes. We can do this. We must. To the new year.....Bring it on! | | |
| Greetings all. Well WRC is rocking like never before... Where are we going to put all the wonderful new people who are finding their way to the most relevant Church around? It will be fun trying! It will be more fun getting to know these new people and pouring more into them from the rank and file ordinary folks like us. Let's put the vision out there with all the passion and energy we can muster and see who God will bring us... Those who attend WRC were brought by God personally! Not everyone can handle the radical committment required to be a disciple of Jesus...But YOU can.....come on, JOIN THE RANKS!!! | | |
